2021 superstars Beauty Products
Some of these products I have repeatedly bought for some time now but either way these are my 2021 beauty product round ups!
These are in no order….
- Face tan- I am fussy about face tans as most tans contain alcohol which dry’s out your skin but the Pestle & Mortar one doesn’t! So, this was a game changer for me, their Glow drops are so easy to use and won’t cause any skin irritations. Just add 1-2 drops for a natural look or when you’re wearing body tan add 3-4 drops into your moisturiser, mix together then gently massage into your skin, don’t forget to wipe your eyebrows and eyelids with some tissue afterwards https://www.pestleandmortar.com/shop/glow-drops-30ml/
- Hyaluronic serum- if you don’t already apply this step to your skincare regime then you need to ASAP, apply after cleansing and before your moisturiser… this is what keeps your skin hydrated, plump and gives it a fresh glow , my favourite one is the Pestle and Mortar Hyaluronic serum, dispense two drops then pat onto damp skin https://www.pestleandmortar.com/shop/pure-hyaluronic-serum-30ml/
- Body Tan- Bare by Vogue foam in shade medium. I try out loads of tans, I usually only tan once a week Tan Thursday, whos with me?? - Skin exfoliation and purifying- Biologique Recherche P50W, this product has been an absolute game changer for me… unfortunately you can’t buy it without authorisation from a dermatologist or skincare specialist, I get mine from the Consultant Dermatologist Dr.Catriona Ryan at the Institute of Dermatologists in Ballsbridge. I first met Dr. Ryan when I was doing makeup for her sister’s wedding, and she was a bridesmaid. - Sunscreen- this is something iv become very passionate about, I’m sorry iv left it this late in my life to become aware of how damaging the sun and UVA rays which are the aging rays that are present all year round and can penetrate through glass so if your driving, work beside a window daily, your skin is still getting damaged… I recently discovered this zinc-based sunscreen ELTA MD tinted sunscreen, thanks to Dr. Catriona Ryan and I was dubious about it as it seemed quite a thick product, but I love it!!! - Everyday Foundation- Sculpted By Aimee second skin dewy finish foundation https://www.sculptedbyaimee.com/collections/second-skin is my new fav everyday one to wear, it’s light to medium coverage, applies beautifully onto the skin (I use the Carly Fisher foundation brush its brilliant) it last really good on my skin, I set this foundation with the By Terry Hyaluronic loose powder to ensure longevity and to take away any shine on my Tzone https://www.cultbeauty.com/by-terry-hyaluronic-hydra-powder-10g/11307251.html
- Eyeshadow palette- I have fallen head over heels since I purchased this and wear it most days, I adore the colours and find I can easily create different eye looks from supernatural to more dramatic, it suits every skin tone. - My fav lip combo for this year has been the Charlotte Tilbury lip liner in shade hot gossip, it’s a tawny rose colour, I like it because it gives a nice bit of definition and colour so I can wear it with just lip balm, or it matches to a lot of different lipstick colours. For lipstick I vary between the Charlotte tilbury Bitch Perfect (I often recommend this for bridesmaids) or the MRS glam lipstick in Regal Rose, for lip-gloss my fav is the Charlotte Tilbury jewel lips in shade champagne diamonds
- My best find this year was the IGLOW Lash serum, it takes about 6 weeks to really take effect, and you need it use it consistently every night, (you just run the brush along your top lash line as close to the roots of your lashes as you can get it, it may sting a little for the first couple of minutes and when you first start using it you will notice some redness along the lash line that’s normal…)but OMG the difference in the length of my lashes after using it, I couldn’t believe it https://www.iglow.me/iglow_lash_maximizer/?tag=menu&15%off
